need for aid for downed bikers

Okay, here it is, a year after my bike crash, and the bastards won't let me go back to work.
Had the testing per fed. guidelines, and passed all the requirements for medium work, (no more ditch digging?) and my erstwhile employer, U.S. Airways, will not allow me back to work, even with a full time release from my doctor.
So, here I sit, no income, no job, and soon, no apartment and no bike.

Anyone have any ideas, or know who may be hiring?

I don't know of any organized charity for a situation like this, perhaps one should be started, I cannot be the only one in this position, and since there seems to be a biker killed every day here in Arizona, I also cannot be the only one injured.  I have cashed in my 401k, bank account is gone, ideas please?
